4-3-21 StickerGate and More – Interview with Pastor Doug Wilson

#StickerGate and Pastor Doug Wilson  StickerGate

Pastor Doug Wilson of Christ Church in Moscow, Idaho updates us on the realities of limiting free speech regarding #StickerGate. What is StickerGate? The better question is: How can a city government enforce a 71 year old ordinance on the expression of Free Speech when it was never enforced in the past? To get to the background read ‘For Immediate Release.’

On this program we will hear from Pastor Wilson about the egregious abuses of power that he and his family are personally experiencing. The arbitrary actions of the City of Moscow are not limited to this size of community but if you look around you can find actions regarding Constitutional Free Speech being ‘cancelled’ all over these United States.

Let us remember that the First Amendment in the Federal Constitution has five fundamental Rights secured: worship of God, speech, the press, assembly and redress of grievances. In respect to StickerGate, the Idaho Constitution clearly secures these fundamental Rights generally in Article I Sections 1, 2 and specifically in Sections 9, 10 and 22. I would suggest that the City of Moscow has problems understanding that based on the Idaho State Constitution, the political class there do not comprehend Article I Section 3 setting “the Constitution of the United States is the supreme law of the land” nor the Rights reserved in all the afore mentioned Sections of Idaho’s ARTICLE I – DECLARATION OF RIGHTS. 11-9-19 Kingdom, Profiles In Courage

Kingdom, Profiles In Courage  Profiles In Courage

I have this very Reformation and American Puritan concept of Kingdom, which demands reviewing Profiles In Courage. Now I mention JFK’s book in that he discusses several individuals that stood against the tide of political pressure from their peers.

Making it clear that I am not a classical theologian, understand that I have studied the application of Reformation and Puritan theology in some great detail. To that, Kingdom is a topic that reaches into governance in the present as much as it is a reality when one dies. Understanding who the King of kings is and what that means for living in this world is critical to governing in ones own life, family, community, work and our Constitutional Republic – be that a State or National.

Profiles In Courage

Living according to Reformation – American Puritan concepts like Samuel Adams requires correct understanding of Kingdom and acting with Profiles In Courage. To stand against tyranny in our Republic, the knowledge of such must be rightly taught and inculcated in our youth again. JFK has John Quincy Adams as his first example of this. Do you know who John Quincy Adams is or what he was doing at twelve years old? Consider that our youth today have less of a clue than you and then consider young Mr. Adams position in international affairs at that age. Continue reading

10-26-19 Evangelical Failure, Roman Catholic Exceptionalism

Evangelical Failure

In the present Culture and Foundational Political wars, the headlines are awash with Evangelical Failure. I consider this Texas case as a prime example: “Report: Judge Rules Jeffrey Younger Can Share Guardianship over Son James”. My argument is that the Jury of twelve had no moral conviction except for one person. The Jury was willing to let a boy be chemically castrated and turned into a girl because a psycho-bable mother (who is a Phd) is attempting to prove a diagnosis of “gender-dysphoria”.

If it were not for the Evangelical Failure in the pulpits, education and family this case would not have even come to a trial. Thankfully, the presiding judge had the moral instance to allow the Father to have joint custody and medical decision making authority. Thus overriding the Jury decision. Continue reading

10-12-19 Morality and Virtue Ensures Liberty

Morality and Virtue Ensures Liberty  Self-actualizing

Sam Adams predicts our present governance and political situation. His letter to James Warren stresses that Morality and Virtue ensures Liberty.

Adams defines that this must be a definitive aspect of education. By not inculcating our youth in morality and the mechanisms of virtue we loose the prospects of maintaining Liberty. Continue reading

9-29-18 Virtue of the Elected and Sam Adams on Voting

The Virtue of the Elected is Missing in governance!

We have clearly been witnessing the lack of ‘Virtue of the Elected’ to office especially the democratic House and Senate.

Lack of Virtue is relatively true in most of the Legislatures in the various States. The reality that morality has left the classroom and higher-learning is systemic of what has occurred in the congregations across the nation. Those that were at the Foundation of the nation Clearly understood humanity and the willfulness of mankind, without the Biblical God, to be anything other than what we observe in the chambers of the Senate during the Kavanaugh Hearings.

Today we look at the total disregard for a sovereign Constitutional Republic by the votes of the deamoncrats regarding HR 1071, which would rebuke those cities and states that allow illegals and non-citizens to vote. Sam Adams wrote to John Adams about this issue.

The reality is that elected persons of “dubious Character” are nothing new! Nor are those that tell the Constituent one thing and then go to the General Assembly and do something else or represent a different interest – Is not new!

All of this is addressed in this program!

Sam Adams not only writes to a friend concerning these issues but also with his wife. Again, it is clear that only a Moral and Virtuous people can bring forth Moral and Virtuous elected persons. We have not properly prepared those who should be in elected positions with Foundational Morals and Virtue. Additionally, the bureaucracy do not function according to Founders Principles and Intent.
