The third week of August in Chicago 2024 was the predictable collection of the Demonic Nocturnal Congregation (DNC) in fulfillment of that which was established through decades of gaslighting by the Black Cloak Brigade spawned prodigy¹(must read footnote definition). This gathering is the expected result of 200 years of Unitarianism, Universalism and the Social Gospel. In short, the pinnacle of perfected humanism. The resulting assemblage inside mesmerized by the gaslighting (more on gaslighting further in) high priests and priestesses, while outside, the co-optate² throngs of gargoyles spout the vitriol venom of invasive radicals and indoctrinated subversives.

Massive Influence

It is critical to understand that the massive influence of the present day Black Cloak Brigade is very much as that of the pastors in the founding era. Take this quote from The Life of Samuel Adams,

‘… so at the top of society were the ministers, men often of fine force, ability, and education. No other such career as the ministry afforded was open in those days to ambitious men. Year by year the best men of each Cambridge class went into the ministry, and the best of them were sifted out for the Boston pulpit. Jonathan May- hew, Andrew Eliot, Samuel Cooper, Charles Chauncey, Mather Byles, —all were characters of mark, true to the Puritan standards, generally, as regards faith, eloquent in their office, friends and advisers of the political leaders, themselves often political leaders, foremost in the public meetings, and active in private.

Together with the ministers, the merchants were a class of influence.’

One has to have a knowledge of what a real Puritan meant in the founding era. Especially as to root theology for developing personal and economic Liberty. The Sermon I include with this program is full of Puritan / Calvinistic theology that establishes how those elected or appointed are to govern, as servants of the King of all creation.

Unlike the Black Regiment (Black Robe Regiment), The Black Cloak Brigade is more than the Tory (British sympathizer) ideology and theology of the loyalist Colonial era. The emphasis of The Black Cloak Brigade is best found through the second definition for a cloke (cloak) in Webster’s 1828 Dictionary –

As a noun; A cover; that which conceals; a disguise or pretext; an excuse; a fair pretense. As a transitive verb; To hide; to conceal; to use a false covering.

Instead of Patriot Pastors of the Nations Founding era, in our present age, we have virtual hooded Black Cloaks, who are concealing their humanism, socialism and even occultism through a ‘fair pretense³’ of Christianity. The majority of the various Protestant denominations noted in the background quote below, now reject the Biblical Reformation theology of the Black Regiment. These modern skeletons of the founding era denominations are the purveyors of deception, rage, pre-flood / Romanesque perversions and vain murmurings, which Psalm 2:1 clearly identifies;

Why do the heathen rage, and the people⁴ murmur in vain. (1599 Geneva Bible)

In other words, it isn’t only the gentiles or pagans reviling against God but the ‘so called’ modern christian church.

Just to set the background a bit, let me begin with the following quotes from the article ‘Patriots From the Pulpit’ at the American Pastors Network.

It was British sympathizer Peter Oliver, who actually first used the name “Black Regiment.” He complained that such clergymen were invariably at the heart of the revolutionary disturbances…

Mr Oliver wrote: “Mr. Otis, understanding the Foibles of human Nature advanced one shrewd position which seldom fails to promote popular Commotions, that ‘it was necessary to secure the black Regiment.’ These were his Words and his meaning was to engage ye dissenting Clergy on his Side…. Where better could he fly for aid than to the Horns of the Altar?… This order of Men … like their Predecessors of 1641 … have been unceasingly sounding the Yell of Rebellion in the Ears of an ignorant and deluded People.”

So influential were the patriot-pulpits of Colonial America that it was said by Prime Minister Horace Walpole in the British Parliament, “Cousin America has run off with a Presbyterian parson.” In fact, America’s War for Independence was often referenced in Parliament as “the Presbyterian Revolt.”

These patriot-preachers were staunchly patriotic, seriously independent, and steadfastly courageous. They were found in almost all of the various Protestant denominations at the time: Baptist, Presbyterian, Congregational, Anglican, Lutheran, German Reformed, etc.

Just a note that the political elite are modern Peter Oliver’s in that they consider the Citizenry ‘an ignorant and deluded People.’ Remember, Sam Adams addresses this exact issue in his speech regarding the Declaration of Independence. But I digress.

The reality is that there are two key theological positions that differentiate the 1730’s though the 1770’s from our present Black Cloak Brigade spiritual and nation destroyers⁵. During the those mid – 1700’s Trinitarianism and Postmillennialism were predominant theologies of hope and redemptive futurism.

A core truth in Trinitarianism is that Jesus is the Christ, He reigns over heaven and earth, such that all governments are under His domain⁶. In his 1738 Election Sermon Rev. John Webb covers both theological positions with:

‘And in a word, the Person who is the more immediate subject of this rule and government is the Lord Jesus Christ, as He is GOD and MAN united in one Person. For it is not the Son of God, considered as God alone; nor the Son of Man, simply considered, that has this dignity and dominion given to Him: For in the former sense, the Son of God being equal with the Father(Phil. 2:6) in all divine perfections, needs no delegated power from Him, but has a natural right to exercise a universal and absolute sovereignty over all created beings. And in the latter sense; that is, if we consider Christ only as man, He would be very unequal to the charge committed to Him; for it is vastly too great, as we shall presently see, for any created being, as such. And from hence it necessarily follows, that it is, and must be, the Lord Jesus Christ, considered as GOD-MAN in one Person who has the government laid upon Him. And therefore He is spoken of, in our context, as partaking both of the human and Divine natures. His human nature is plainly pointed out in these words, “Unto us a Child is born;” for He could become a child and be born, in no other way, but as He was made man. And when the prophet adds, “Unto us a Son is given,” this, compared with the following character of His person, does as plainly intimate, that He is the “eternal Son of God,” as well as the Son of Man. And agreeably this same prophet does, in another place of his prophecies, describe them to us, under the title and character of Immanuel. Isa. 7:14: “Behold a Virgin shall conceive, and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel; which, being interpreted, is, God with us;” for this is the exposition which the Holy Ghost Himself gives of the Word in Mat. 1:23. And having said this concerning the Person who administers the government spoken of in the text.’

It is therefore, as the many ministers that gave election sermons noted, that all laws must conform to the authority of Christ and not mankind’s frivolity and ideologies. Rev. Webb puts it this way:

‘And to this purpose, you [rulers] must employ your superior power and talents so as to make the civil administration, in the most effectual manner, to observe the great end of the Redeemer’s kingdom. And this may be done; not by making and executing laws, with a design to oblige the consciences of men in matters of divine faith and worship; for this is a royalty of Christ, a flower in His crown, which He has reserved only to Himself: But it may be done, […] by distinguishing the most faithful subjects of Christ, with the more peculiar [special] smiles of government; and by setting before the people a bright example of every Christian grace and virtue.’

Burning Man Sovereignty with the Black Cloak Brigade

My reference to Burning Man sovereignty is that it is directly connected to the pulpit and political teachings of the Black Cloak Brigade. Presenting the theology of man’s humanistic sovereignty over Jesus Sovereignty. Why do we see the major denominations fully accepting every demonic perversion as acceptable to a ‘loving god’? The interest in this conglomeration of human individualism is precisely the ‘individual’ and all that centers on ones self in a cacophony of anti-establishment, self-defined religiousness and a nondenominational temple and recurring burning rituals. At Burning Man, so called religious groups offer judgement-free, radically inclusive rituals that seem to grow more popular each year.

Burning Man is about ‘glorifying man’ through spiritualism. Thereby marginalizing – God of the Bible, good governance and God’s judgement and justice.

To all that, Rev. Webb would say:

And as the more public, so the more private affairs of mankind, are under the governments and direction of our Lord Jesus Christ. For He is perfectly acquainted with every individual person in the world; and knows all that belongs to Him. Yes, “he searcheth the very Hearts of the Children of Men, and turns them which way soever he pleaseth, even as the Rivers of Water are turned.”(7) And hence it is He makes the godly to “be his willing People in the Day of his Power,” Psal. 110:3. And directs the counsels and actions of the wicked, even contrary to their own intentions, so as to accomplish His own most glorious designs: as we may see in the instance of the King of Assyria, spoken of in the 10th chapter of Isaiah. For his private design was plainly “to destroy and to cut off nations not a few,” Verse 7: but our sovereign Lord over-ruled him and his management, so as only to correct and reform a degenerate people; as we find in the following context. And thus I have considered the dominion of Christ, as it is exercised over all things; and more especially over angels and men, both good and bad. And now there remains but one thing more to be spoken to under this Head.

In simple terms, those pastors and ministers in various denominations who ascribe to all the social, economic and humanistic theologies of modernism, are deniers of the divinity of Jesus Christ. Rev. Webb notes:

And therefore, by the way, we may with propriety enough take notice of the gross contradiction and idolatry, which these men, in the way of their reasoning and practice, run themselves into, who deny the divinity of Christ in the highest sense of the word; and yet, at the same time, own that all divine perfections belong to Him, besides self-existence, absolute supremacy and independency (which they would have be the only incommunicable characters of the one supreme God;) and also allow, that divine honors are due to Christ, on the account of His dignity and dominion.

For when they deny His Godhead in an absolute sense, they, at best, make Him a dignified creature [creation]. And this, in the nature of things, is to make Him but a finite being; for to suppose an infinite creature, is an infinite absurdity.

The vast spectrum of modern cultural, economic and governance catastrophes is rendered down to not believing in the divinity and sovereignty of Jesus the Christ.

Sovereign In Purpose

Rev. Webb make sure that those elected to govern the region, as well as the appointed Governor and Lt. Governor of the Massachusetts Colony, understand a world and universe governed by the Sovereign King of heaven and earth. Jesus Christ uses all of creation for His own purposes to advance the glory of His kingdom.

Web puts it this way:

‘As Jesus Christ upholds, so He actually overrules and directs all things, so as to answer the great end of their being: that is, so as to advance the glory of God in the winding up of all.

And here I might fitly consider the influence He has over the natural world, or that which we usually call the ordinary course of nature. For, as this is part of God’s providential kingdom, so it necessarily falls under His general care and direction: And he makes use of all things in it some way or other, to subserve the main ends of His government.

But as it is of greater concernment to us to consider the dominion of Christ over the moral world; over angels and men, both good and bad; I shall continue my discourse under this head, to this part of Christ’s government’

At this point I must defer you to the full sermon of Rev. Webb which I will read in full after this program concludes. Why you ask?

The remainder of the sermon fully describes Christ’s sovereign mind and actions over all creation such that many modern, truly Biblical and Reformed preachers are finding these truths again and preaching the true modern application of them. Much of this message given by Rev. Webb is one that we are now calling Christian Nationalism. Yet in the 1700’s, it was and still is the message of liberty, hope and good government for humanity. All Nations, even these United States inclusive of local governments are in and under Jesus Christ sovereignty.

Gaslighting By The Black Cloak Brigade

As just noted, beyond this programs segments, I will be reading the complete 1738 Sermon of Dr. Web. But before I do that, I must finish with the most overused but relevant descriptor of our present age: gaslighting.

I want to apply this word in context to the Gaslighting Black Cloak Brigade. In this you need to comprehend what ‘gaslighting’ is and how it is being applied regarding politics, culture and church.

Let me start with the whole gender confusion even at the 2024 DNC Convention with a ‘Gender-Neutral everything including an Islamist Prayer Room,’ see the links in this broad search query⁷.

Fact, there is no gender confusion but all who promote it are ‘gaslighting.’ Ok, I will stop from qualifying all the examples of gaslighting, which you can find in footnote #7 and define the word.

According to a Newport Institute article title ‘Identifying Gaslighting: Signs, Examples, and Seeking Help’, gaslighting is:

‘…a form of psychological abuse or manipulation in which the abuser attempts to sow self-doubt and confusion in their victim’s mind. Typically, gaslighters are seeking to gain power and control over the other person, by distorting reality and forcing them to question their own judgment and intuition.’

The Black Cloak Brigade of pastors, religious leaders and organizations are not the progeny of The First Great Awakening. They are the ‘woke’ tools of what Rev. Webb describes as:

‘And as the angels of light, so the powers of darkness, or the evil angels, are absolutely under the dominion of Christ. They are indeed the most powerful and implacable enemies He has to deal with. But however, as our great Redeemer is the Angel spoken of in Rev. 20:1: “Who has the key of the bottomless Pit, and a great Chain in his Hand,” He either permits or restrains them at His pleasure. And when, at any time, He gives them leave to exert their power, and vent their rage and malice, He overrules them and their actions, so as to accomplish the great ends of His own government, contrary to their own inclination and endeavors; as when He made them to confess Him to be “the Son of God,” (Luke 4:41) and to be “the Means of his Death,” (John 13:17) whereby the kingdom and works of the devil was to be destroyed: For upon this great event we read, in Col. 2:15: “Of his spoiling Principalities and Powers, and making a Shew of them openly, triumphing over them in his Cross.”

The reality is that these minions of ‘the powers of darkness’, these cloaked gaslighting minsters are short lived. To which Rev. Webb considers in the true justice of Christ:

But as I have not time to illustrate this in all the particulars, I shall, on this occasion, only name the infinite mercy and justice of God, which appear with a distinguishing glory in the reign of our Lord Jesus Christ. For when, on the one hand we consider Christ “as Head over all Things to the Church,” as in Eph. 1:22: we have the most […] [rapturous] discoveries of the infinite grace and mercy of God, and of all other divine perfections, that are more nearly related to them; not only in His continual care to defend them against all the power and rage of earth and hell, which are in combination against them; to assist them under all their weaknesses; to comfort them under all their sorrows; to carry on and perfect His own work in them; and to conduct them, at length, safe into the immediate presence and enjoyment of God; where Grace, Grace will be the subject of everlasting songs of praise: So, on the other hand, when we consider Christ as Lord of all, and exerting His power over His enemies; here we have the most […] [awesome] manifestations of infinite holiness, justice and righteousness; in the judgment which He frequently executes on earth against sin and sinners; in the restraint He continually lays upon His implacable enemies; in the frowns of His indignation which they are perpetually under; and in pouring out all the vials of divine wrath upon them in the world to come. And upon these accounts, the Apostle gives us to understand, in the forecited Phil. 2:11, that, first or last, “Every Tongue shall confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the Glory of God the Father.”

Yet, these United States suffers for the teaching and preaching of ‘another gospel’ by the Black Cloak Brigade. The gaslighting gospel of modernism with all the sins of the days of Noah, Nineveh, Rome, Athens and Judea/Sumeria combined, bring for the ‘pouring out all the vials of divine wrath’ until Christ purposes are fulfilled and the Glory of the Father is made known.

Conclusion For Now

There is a slow resurgence of the Black Regiment. Unfortunately, The Black Cloak Brigade is deeply intertwined in the majority of so called christian churches, denominational or non. The false theology of the Cloaked ones permeates cultural, political and educational institutions, resulting in the sabotage of self-governance and good government in general.

None of this is new. If you do an honest search of history, European countries in particular, have encountered much of what these United States are enduring presently. We must remember that ‘God is not mocked’ and all creation, including every human being with our governments is established by and for Jesus Christ own purposes for the full glory of God.

This sermon is one that I hope pastors and church leaders will present and study with their congregations. It is critical for those in public service to understand that they are servants of the King of Kings and will be judge by Him for their actions.
