7-6-19 Attack On Christianity: It’s Your Fault!

July 2019 Update: Attack on Christianity  Attack On Christianity

With this being a long weekend for Independence Day on Thursday, the decision to rebroadcast a program was prudent. This program is even more timely than it was two years ago when I first did it. The Attack on Christianity in America is even greater then 2017 and yes, It is the fault of many of the pulpits. Why? Because many pastors are now engrossed in or tolerant of the ‘social justice warriors’ in the various denominations. Sorry, but that is not what the Pastors, the Clergy and Theologians of Americas Founding thought or taught. With all that is in this program, I will continually press you to read or listen to “The Chaplains and Clergy of the Revolution”.

I use the picture that I did since I’m doing more writing that will be published at The Capitol Hill Outsider.

Last for 2019 – We did close down SACPS because, Like the programs will discuss, There is no interests from among the majority of the churches to ensure moral and virtuous leaders to take their place in the governance of our Republic.

The Original Promo from 9-16-2017:

This week the attacks on morality, Francis Scott Key, Constitutionalism and Christianity got the best of me. I have been deep diving into the writings by yes, the cousin of Sam, John Adams. I have read John Adams several times and referenced him as well. I am always impressed with his letters to his wife and Thomas Jefferson; His keen intellect regarding the law, Constitutionalism and Christianity. To the extent that he wrote: “Let them revere nothing but religion, morality and liberty.” – Letter to Abigail Adams (15 April 1776)

Instead of referring more of what John Adams wrote, today I speak about my continuing study in Jeremiah. I am still intent on recording an exhortation on Jeremiah but that is for another day.

Now I see that the attack on our Founding documents in happening in the State School Board of Ohio. Well, this is part of what Jeremiah was speaking about and the destruction of morality and Christianity that the pulpits have allowed for the last 100 years. In 2014 a report by the Barna Group with the American Culture and Faith Institute said: “What we’re finding is that when we ask them (pastors) about all the key issues of the day, [90 percent of them are] telling us, Yes, the Bible speaks to every one of these issues. Then we ask them: Well, are you teaching your people what the Bible says about those issues? – and the numbers drop … to less than 10 percent of pastors who say they will speak to it.” To this, Pastors do not preach as those during the Reformation let alone during the Foundation of our nation. “The corollary information in our studies indicates that theologically conservative pastors are refusing to teach biblical principles related to current issues because they are concerned about being seen as political, not wanting to risk the loss of numbers of people or donations, and concern about the status of the church’s non-profit designation,” commented George Barna, Executive Director of the American Culture & Faith Institute. In my simple terms: Pastors lack knowledge and understanding of Foundational Truth and Understanding of Reformations Reality – Hence they are cowards compared to those in afore mentioned periods which demanded the present secure the former for posterity.

Restoration of the Constitution will not do a thing without the restoration of the Fortitude of the Pulpits in teaching the full extensibility of the Gospel in every aspect of life….and that includes governance – meaning politics! So in the references I am giving you what I have not fro a long while – the link to the ‘Pulpits of the Revolution’ and a particular work by Jonathan Mayhew.

As always, remember: The Founders wanted us to gain knowledge and get involved! Being a Citizen is an Active involvement in our political life!  Let’s get our feet on the street for this time is critical!

Join me on today’s program to value the Founders perspective of the mirrors of history and the reality of the present.

And because you keep asking!
