Blog 412: When The Lights Go Out

When the lights go out do you wonder what happened? Were you prepared? Can you find your way? Will you be able to function or are you gripped in bewilderment ready to … (you chose the ending.)

Yup, the lights went our around here again. We had sever storms and a tornado hit. For Cat and I, no big deal since we are ready for most inevitabilities. Yet, you have to look at the events across the nation from Hawaii wildfire, which was started from greeny theology and the negligence of the electric company, to hurricane Idalia blowing through the state of Florida and beyond.

Well, now a days, we think in nexus considering the timing of what and when the lights will go out because of the weaponized mechanism of the federal and state governments. Yes, all due to the storms of the malicious plans of elites which the Anti-federalists warned of.

As a note: Just remember that policy and law are developed and implemented based on religious beliefs. Check out the References for the mix of religious/denominational clinging to and promoting what I’ve studied as anti-Biblical.

Almost everyone, including many citizens who consider themselves ‘on top of the current events,’ are actually ‘in the moment’ reacting as if all that is happening throughout the institutions of government were just happening in the last several decades.

Well, just about everyone, including so called conservatives, blabber ‘history be damned and let’s get all emotional’ since the lights are out and no one cares who rants or trembles in the dark, joining with the others stumbling along as well.

Dark To Dawn

Consider this quote from Rev. Samuel Cooke’s Election Day Sermon, 1770:

‘When the elections of this important day are determined, what further remains to be undertaken for the securing our liberties, promoting peace and good order, and, above all, the advancement of religion, the true fear of God through the land, will demand the highest attention of the General Assembly. We trust the Fountain of light, who giveth wisdom freely, will not scatter darkness in your paths, and that the day is far distant when there shall be cause justly to complain, The foundations are destroyed what can the righteous do? Our present distresses, civil fathers, loudly call upon us all, and you in special, to stir up ourselves in the fear of God. Arise! — this matter belongeth unto you; we also will be with you. Be of good courage, and do it.’

Most often the storm hits in the dark. Did you ever think about when the SWAT teams enjoin their targets? I know, a little off the path but not that far when you consider a storms worse effects. Oh, that’s a science thing about barometric pressure, air to ground temperature and so on… Relevance to this note? Here is a recent example of a tragic storm: State Rep. So the simple answer regarding relevance of the above question is that all of the precursors to our present political plight have been building since the beginning of this Constitutional Republic.

This week, due to an overwhelming goodness of God, we are exceeding our limits in our business, thereby having to bring you a reach back into 2019 with the program that asks you, ‘Did Evangelicalism Lose the Nation?’

Those at the Founding clearly knew that nature of mankind being sinful. They understood that if bad or corrupted theology moved into the pulpits then a nation could not continue even with a covenant, constitution, between the governed and government. All government begins with self-governance.

We now have chaos in personal lives that government wants to solve with psychobabble. We have lawlessness not only on the streets but in the political and legal systems as well. In other words, we do not have pulpits, except for a few, preaching the encompassing and complete Word of God, that are what brought disparate colonies into a Confederation as a Republic.

I’m not going to get into the details of this argument because I have covered it more that fifty times in the last 400 plus programs.

It is critical that I leave you here with the compelling articles in the references that are the underlying causes for the question of ‘What will you do when the lights go out?’

From the rising to the setting sun, may His kingdom come.

Having been a slave to the influence of opinions early acquired, and distinctions generally received, I am ever inclined not to despise but pity those who are yet in darkness. But to the eye of reason what can be more clear, than that all men have an equal right to happiness? Nature made no other distinction than that of higher or lower degrees of power of mind and body. But what mysterious distribution of character has the craft of statesmen, more fatal than priestcraft, introduced?

According to their doctrine, the offspring of perhaps the lewd embraces of a successful invader, shall, from generation to generation, arrogate the right of lavishing on their pleasures a proportion of the fruits of the earth, more than sufficient to supply the wants of thousands of their fellow-creatures: claim authority to manage them like beasts of burden, and without superior industry, capacity, or virtue, nay, though disgraceful to humanity by their ignorance, intemperance, and brutality, shall be deemed best calculated to frame laws, and to consult for the welfare of society.’
