This is an amazing testimony of how the Glory of God exhibits His Sovereignty to an individual, Samuel Spring. As a young man Dr. Spring then lives the extensibility of the Gospel through a  faithfulness of belief put into action. One has to not just watch this video but read this Chapter several times over and ask who else you know that is as Rev. Spring was?

In our day and age I would say few to none.

Chaplains and Clergy of The Revolution: Chapter 7 – Jacob Duche

Contents of Chapter 7: The Chaplains and Clergy of the Revolution

JACOB DUCHE Opens the first Continental Congress with Prayer.—John Adams’ Description’ of the Scene.—His Patriotic Sermons.—Gives his Pay as Chaplain to the Families of those slain in Battle.—Becomes alarmed, and turns against his Country.—His insulting Letter to Washington.— Flees the Country.—His Return to Philadelphia, his Death.—His Character.

Jacob Duche went from Patriot to traitor because of fear. I wonder, base on his ecclesiastical background and his upbringing if he was a true ‘Patriot of the Day’ when invited to open the first Continental Congress with Prayer. Yet, we have all seen circumstances and mostly fear cause a person to change their perspective. It all comes down to: are your principles rock solid and do you stand on the truth of God’s Word or on emotions that sway the hearts of mankind? Continue reading

Jonas Clark, being a close friend of Samuel Adams was a strong minister of the ‘Whole’ Gospel from Genesis to Revelations as understood by the Reformers of Old. He preached Liberty only by the ‘Cross of Christ’ and how it is ‘extensible’ into every aspect of life… even political life. This Chapter is his amazing remembrance. Continue reading

Chaplains and Clergy of The Revolution: Chapters 3 and 4

Chapters 3 and 4The Chaplains and Clergy of the Revolution

This posting is Chapters 3 and 4 of the 46 Chapters in The Chaplains and Clergy of the Revolution: is the Historical Fact that Christianity (see the link at the end) is the root of our American Heritage and a key factor in the inspiration of the Revolution. Good governance is God’s governance and the Citizenry during the Founding era understood this. Those that were Chaplains and Clergy were not just religious mouth pieces. NO, They were warrior Patriots that spoke – first the Word of God and then the musket or sword.

At the end of this posting and future postings we will include the Table of Contents to the book with the links back to the previous Chapters already recorded.

Please share with Family and especially with your Pastors and Church leaders.

Destruction of the Constitution – NOT!

11-17-18 Destruction of the Constitution – NOT!

My Grandchildren Tearing apart the Constitution

Understanding the reality of those wanting the Destruction of the Constitution, I am opening this weeks program with the Foundational truth that was the deep root of the establishment of this nation. That being the pulpits. I have taken on producing a video series of reading a book to my grandchildren that they will never hear otherwise. In fact you will never hear about it other than here. The book was published in 1864 during a very troubled time. Click on the title to follow the link to find out more about the book and the video series for “The Chaplains and Clergy of the Revolution”. Last week I gave you the link to the book. This week you need to go to the video information to find the link.

Destruction of the Constitution – No one Listening

The Title for today’s program is something that I have been talking about for forty plus years. I’m keeping this blog post of the program simple. The events of the past two weeks and the actions of the various states elections boards is not predictable, these are the results of not doing anything about what many other and myself have been warning about until we are blue in the face. Thankfully we live in a Constitutional Republic not a democracy or a democratic parliamentary form of government. If we did, then… The Kozak Plan would have us under 100% neo-marxist/socialist domination. Continue reading

Chaplains and Clergy of The Revolution: A Must Watch Series

The Chaplains and Clergy of the RevolutionThe Chaplains and Clergy of the Revolution

As promised, we are bringing you the video  series of THE CHAPLAINS and CLERGY of the REVOLUTION published in 1864. This book was written by J. T. Headly. He was also the author of: “WASHINGTON AND HIS GENERALS,” “NAPOLEON AND HIS MARSHALS,” ETC, ETC.

Why a Video Series?

Why read this book into a video series? Our Nation needs the truth of what motivated the Citizenry to be strong and have the moral courage to fight for Liberty. So too  our churches need to understand that the pulpits must be the root of civil society and the voice of Liberty. Most importantly, our children and grandchildren need to know there is hope for their future. They need to know that this hope is in  History that shows us that with the leadership of God, although there may be a heavy cost, Liberty can be sustained.

Through the reading of this book in video format linked in the blog posts, you will hear Tom memorializing history for his grandchildren. The hope is that you will find the time to do the same with your friends and family.

How Long Is It?

Post Election Reflections – Plus

11-10- 18 Post Election Reflections – Plus

On this program I am doing quick Post Election Reflections – Plus I indent to develop the more critical conversation of how did we get here and where are we going? InElection Reflections the First reference link for today’s program is a well written article to the subjects of ‘the power elite’ and a chasm of ‘knowledge gap’, which I have spoke of in many of my other programs such as: Education For A Modern Republic, Educating Sam Adams and Thoughts Upon The Mode Of Education Proper In A Republic.

As part of the discussion on education that I want to reference is this article which must be memorialized and read by everyone who get this newsletter: “Knowles: Dem Socialists Pushing to Infiltrate Schools Because ‘They Can’t Win in the Battle of Ideas’ – ‘If they teach history, they’re going to lose.’” This article is another key to what occurred This past Tuesday and is critical in the Post Election Reflections that MUST be addressed as we move to 2020.

11-3-18 Sam Adams, Meyhew and Witherspoon – Contemporaries

Contemporaries Sam Adams, Meyhew and Witherspoon

The facts are that Sam Adams, Meyhew and Witherspoon were contemporaries. Johnathan Meyhew was born in 1720, Adams in 1722 and Witherspoon in 1723. Adams graduated Harvard in 1740 with an AM and a Masters Degree in 1742. Meyhew graduated in 1744 and Witherspoon received his Master from the University of Edinburgh in 1739. Sadly, hardly anyone really knows much about these three. Continue reading

Breaking News!

Update to Saturday 10-27 Radio Program

Boston – Thursday:

In Boston the excitement was intense, and the whole city was quickly in a blaze of resentment. At the first opportunity the determined hostility to the act broke forth. What would normally be an occasion of celebration, political figures are found hanging in effigy from city center trees and from the top of which peeped forth a head with horns, intended to personify the Devil. The authorities did not attempt to remove the effigies, for, in the excited state of the popular mind, it was difficult to say how far the rage of the people, might lead them.

The Organizers, with whom the proceedings, originated, kept the matter somewhat in hand, and at evening cut the figures down and carried them in procession through the city, processioned on a bier. The multitude moved in perfect order, and their route was lined with people. They passed through the historic Old State house and under the council-chamber, where the key city politicians happened to be gathered. “Liberty, property, and new taxes”! were shouted at the ears of the listening dignitaries. The Organizers were preceded by some four or five thousand business and tradesmen, decently dressed and the whole body marched to State Street, where they demolished a structure which they believed the federal government was building as an office for the new tyranny being pushed by despotic leadership. Then they proceeded to Fort Hill (Roxbury), where key government officials reside, and with fragments of the frame which they brought with them, built a bonfire in which the effigies were consumed.
