2-21-15 Program: Educating Sam Adams

This is one of my favorite programs to have done.  It goes through the education of the youth in the Colonies up to and slightly through 1765.  Education for those that attended Harvard during these early colonial times, most were around 15 in age, learned how to discover, develop critical thinking, learned the historical classics and could read and write greed and latin as well as their native language.

The brilliance of the Founders is due to the way they learned as much as what they learned.   I experienced some of that “Classical Education” in my you and it has set the foundation as to how I learn, think and problem solve.  Education, particularly government/public education, is incompetent at best.  One of the best written books on the education system in the US is called: “In the Presence of Our Enemies” by Ellen McClay.  It’s long but worth the read!

1-31-15 Program: the Minor Magistrate Prt 1

The responsibility of the Minor Magistrate has not only been lost in how modern local governance stands up to the encroachments and usurpation’s of the state or national government but, the Doctrine of the Minor (Lesser) Magistrate is lost from teaching in the the modern evangelical world!

Here is a re-introduction to the Doctrine of the Minor Magistrate which allowed the Reformation to move forward and kept Tyranny in check.

1-17-15 Program: 114th Congress Defined by John Adams and De Tocqueville

This program is a followup from last week by bringing a Federalist into the conversation.  John Adam gives us some insight on what happens if we lose liberty.  Then we pick up with the summation of Yates regarding what he considered the issues regarding the Constitution of 1787 to which we can see the prophetic nature of his concerns.

In the second segment we get back to John Adams writing on Cannon and Feudal Law.  My commentary has been for years that the US has become a modern feudalism over the last 100 years.

Lastly we finish up with one of my favorite commentators and forward seeing travelers of early America, De Tocqueville.  You may have heard some of this before from me regarding soft despotism but I will hammer it home until folks clearly see the truths he spoke of so that we can move to action to change the course of our nation back to Founders Intent.

1-10-15 Program: The 114th Congress – What is It?

This program details what the 114th Congress is from the perspective of Robert Yates who was the NY Sate senior delegate to the 1787 Congressional Convention that produced the new government.  He withdrew the NY delegation when it was recognized that the ploy was a consolidated government.  This program covers how Yates in Brutus IV predicted to a letter what the 114th Congress would be and that In Fact, we do not have proper representation in the House of Representatives.  The reality that representative apportionment is so erroneous leaves us with Citizen apathy to which Yates clearly describes.  In effect, we in this 21st century, have virtually no proper representation as the 1787 Constitution intended.

Oh, I finally find out when we shifted emphasis from being concerned about Liberty to being overwhelmed by economy.  How about at the 1787 Convention?

1-3-15 Program: 2014 in Review and Whats Up for 2015 From the Mirrors of History?

This week is a partial review of last year’s highlights with reflections on the parallels to that which would insight the citizenry of the 1700’s to even think about separating from the central government. Additionally, what does that now mean for us in this so-called republic. I use so-called since republicanism as understood in those early and mid-1700’s is not what we have in this early 21st century.

And off we go to review and consider the past will most likely be the same in the future if you don’t do anything!

12-20-14 Program: It’s Not the Economy Stupid! It’s About Liberty!

This program reminds us that the Founders and the Anti-federalist in particular saw that Liberty was the substantial purpose of government.  It was the merchants in England that were more worried about their pockets and the king as well as Parliament concerned about paying off war debt the American Colonies were a cash cow for them.

Segment 1: In this program we hear from the only female Anti-federalist who was a prolific writer and sat in the council of the likes of Samuel Adams.  Then we have Cato getting into the full mix with the Anti-federalist article Cato V.

Let’s then consider in Segment 2 what is the confusion of the Cuba connection announced by the reigning despot and hearing from Patrick Henry regarding the Consolidated government under the Constitution of 1787.

Lastly in Segment 3, discussion of the letter that Sam Adams wrote to Daniel Webster.

12-13-14 Program: Role of the President and A Capitulating Congress

This weeks program is a free-form flow regarding the folly of the Congress capitulating to the tyrannical President. Not my normal prepared program but the mutual expression of frustrations with any Citizen that understands that our Constitution has been perverted as the Anti-federalists predicted.

12-6-14 Program: Why the Anti-federalist Are the Constitutional Interpreters?

This week I elaborate on how many of the Colonist actually knew the law and understood the English Constitution in great detail.  The Colonist were for the most part highly literate and understood law not just from a legalize perspective but from a Reformation Covenant perspective.

We will also discuss what the Founders intended for education was based on what they learned and what has been left out of the modern political science conversation completely: The Anti-federalists are in fact the final determiners of Constitutional interpretation, Not the Federalist Paper!  Find out why by listening to this Program.

November 22, 2014 – Thanksgiving Views of Samuel Adams

This week we hear from Mr. Samuel Adams himself regarding not only his views of who should be thanked but what for and why.  Segment No. 1 is from an Article that Adams wrote in a response to the dictated pronouncement of the governor which was denounced by the people.  The last two segments are from Mr. Adams attention in the Continental Congress, his proclamations as Governor of Massachusetts as well as a personal letter.

Adams absolutely believed his Biblical Reformation Roots must be applied not only to personal life and public life but to Politics.
