Destroying Democracy – Really?

Destroying LibertyWe have heard the loud cries of groups, peoples, ideologues, media personalities, bureaucrats and politicians telling us who is ‘Destroying Democracy.’ For the last decade or more those shouting the loudest are pundits, politicians, pastors and professors. Worse are the Repudicans who also use the term ‘Democracy’ as if it is the key to liberty and not chaos.

Over the last three meetings in particular, The World Economic Forum has promoted discussions declaring the worse offenders poised to destroy democracy as ‘populists’ and most recently, Christian nationalists. Hmm, and all this time I understood ‘populists’ to be people, freedom loving, liberty minded individuals who participate in governance – the foundational meaning of democracy.

Let’s face it, not even the likes of Tucker Carlson take the time to fully define democracy in these United States. What we really have in the messaging is the substitutive phraseology of ‘Destroying Democracy The Republic.’ None of the afore mentioned want to clarify what form of government is guaranteed by the Constitution, nor what form of government is guaranteed to the States by the Constitution. Yet, we have all the intelligentsia, bureaucrats, politicians and clergy declaring our ‘democracy’ is in danger. Really? Continue reading →

Pastor Doug Wilson of Christ Church in Moscow, Idaho updates us on the realities of limiting free speech regarding #StickerGate. What is StickerGate? The better question is: How can a city government enforce a 71 year old ordinance on the expression of Free Speech when it was never enforced in the past? To get to the background read ‘For Immediate Release.’

On this program we will hear from Pastor Wilson about the egregious abuses of power that he and his family are personally experiencing. The arbitrary actions of the City of Moscow are not limited to this size of community but if you look around you can find actions regarding Constitutional Free Speech being ‘cancelled’ all over these United States.

Let us remember that the First Amendment in the Federal Constitution has five fundamental Rights secured: worship of God, speech, the press, assembly and redress of grievances. In respect to StickerGate, the Idaho Constitution clearly secures these fundamental Rights generally in Article I Sections 1, 2 and specifically in Sections 9, 10 and 22. I would suggest that the City of Moscow has problems understanding that based on the Idaho State Constitution, the political class there do not comprehend Article I Section 3 setting “the Constitution of the United States is the supreme law of the land” nor the Rights reserved in all the afore mentioned Sections of Idaho’s ARTICLE I – DECLARATION OF RIGHTS. Why I Resigned The Mental Health Board

I am discussing the root reason Why I Resigned the Mental Health Board because mental healthmany have asked as to a root cause.

I want to be clear, that as I comment on the Board itself, that there are a number of the individuals on the Mental Health Board that I have a high regard for. There is one person in particular that happens to be the first one to sit with me and review the operation of the board. This person is effortless in the pursuit of stopping the legalization of marijuana in the State of Ohio. The Mental Health Board is made up of Citizens with various experiences, personal attachments that qualify them to be on the board but, few understand the mechanics of how a Board should actually function and are limited in what can be accomplished due to the restrictions placed on common sense by the Ohio Revised Code and Ohio Administrative Code. Disappearing Teachers?  Where Have All the Teachers Gone?

“Where have all the teachers gone?” is a question that the likes of Sam Adams would be asking if we were willing to seriously consider Foundational Education. With the activism of #RedForEd and the major teachers colleges creating anything but Foundationally sound teachers, the question is even more relevant. Not only that, those moral and historically correct teachers are being persecuted, suspended and fired for example – not using the correct gender neutral pronoun.

We will be putting our toe in the water on this topic of teacher and what is allowed and not allowed particularly in the halls of K-12. Delving into this programs conversation regarding “where are the teachers” is pertinent to conversation of “Political Theology.”

Last week I began these conversations that touched on Climate Change as well as the specifics in Dr. Dwight’s sermon regarding Moral Legislative Governance. I intended to really drill down on the various pastors and denominations that are ‘Pro-climate Change’ but became so frustrated with the convolution of Biblical positioning on this that I quite frankly puked.

My nausea in regard to Evangelicals being ‘Pro-climate Change’ is adjoined with my continued discussion of the same falling away from Biblical Reformation theology and the extensibility of the Gospel. Confusion into governance

This week I am taking a first pass in my study of Calvinism 2.0. Also, I have to bring us back to Sam Adams perspective that ALL Governance is Local. So, I did title the program, “Calvinism 2.0 – Local Governance” in that it is required to have an understanding on how all governance should function in relationship to ones True understanding of the extensibility of Biblical Reformation Reality.

Sam Adams fully understood this as proven by his moniker “the Last Puritan”. To that, I have included in the references, the Congregational Quarterly, January 1869, which has a great article titled “Samuel Adams, the Last of the Puritans.” Notably, the nation in 1869 had already experienced the forethought of disappointment that Sam Adams envisioned for the Republic without a Puritan mindset. Now look at the mess we are in! Our mess is even further from the glorious hopes of that “Last Puritan” basically because of what he predicted would happen if the pulpits lost their Sound Theology of Reformation purism. The pain is that the diversity in Theology or should I say questionable Theology of many predominant pastors is the cause of church, social, cultural and political confusion. I’ll start with this, for those that promote the need for the church in the US to go through persecution, you are the cause of any and all persecutions in our modern American times.

I have to make a simple correction for tomorrow, the notes I used for the program call out an incident regarding Franklin Graham but the fact is that what made my hair stand on end for this weeks program is a story in the Hill regarding Jerry Falwell Jr.

The simple point is that the education in the seminaries and public systems is so limited and deceitful that I can see why there is so much ugliness in social justice nonsense, the support for lawlessness regarding illegals crossing the boarders and the decline in education, culture and yes the fundamentals of Biblical Reformation Truth. Today I am joined by Adam Retych who is a researcher in educational policy. He has been focused on SEL: Social and Emotional Learning. First of all, SEL is a critical topic that, once again, is leading the way for the ‘state’ or ‘statism’ to determine the uniformity of social and emotional norms for all. Adam and I discuss what this insidiousness called SEL is. While the definition and standards sound good, the discerning ear can cut to the chase of the destructive influence this system will have in the long run. Adam’s research is extensive in particular to Ohio yet this is certainly impacting over twenty of the States in the nation who have it fully implemented.

This week is simple: In the first segment I give a quick update from the founders perspective on the Supreme Court Nomination and the hellacious noises from the Court steps to the main stream media. The last two segments are regarding ‘What’ Sam Adams had to say about voting and how we should vet candidates as well as develop future leaders through morality in education. He said this: “As Piety, Religion and Morality have a happy influence on the minds of men, in their public as well as private transactions, you will not think it unseasonable, although I have frequently done it, to bring to your remembrance the great importance of encouraging our University, town schools, and other seminaries of education, that our children and youth while they are engaged in the pursuit of useful science, may have their minds impressed with a strong sense of the duties they owe to their God, their instructors and each other, so that when they arrive to a state of manhood, and take a part in any public transactions, their hearts having been deeply impressed in the course of their education with the moral feelings—such feelings may continue and have their due weight through the whole of their future lives.”
