250 Years of Mercantile Madness

Mercantile Madness

This Samuel Adams article is slightly modified to bring it up to date. The 21st Century words are in italics. I could only add minimally to the great wisdom of Samuel Adams as he addresses the businesses of his day and for that matter, the globalists corporate greed of our present age.

ARTICLE SIGNED “DETERMINATUS.

[Boston Gazette, January 8, 1770.]

To the Printers.

In the 20th and now 21st Centuries, there is no solid agreement from merchants to with hold importations from China or other nations that would decimate our US businesses and economy. Where As at the time of this original, The agreement of the Merchants of this distressed and insulted continent, to with hold importations from Great Britain, it seems to be allowed on all sides, has the strongest tendency towards the repeal of the acts of parliament for raising a revenue in America without our consent. There to is that the major businesses and political elite are opposers of the intent to withdraw from treaties favoring other nations for their own profit. It is no wonder then, that it was oppos’d with so much vehemence at first, by the Cabal; who knew full well, that their Places and their Pensions, and all the delectable profits which they expected to reap, and are now actually reaping, at the expence of the people in town and country, would entirely cease, if these acts, by the means of which their places, pensions and profits arise should be repealed—When they could no longer with any face call it the last efforts of a dying faction, (for the measure was so rational and pacific, that it soon spread far and wide, and was chearfully adopted by all disinterested friends of the country thro’-out the continent) they put on the appearance of the Sons of Liberty; and now their cry is, Where is that Liberty so much boasted of and contended for? A Sermon for Americans by Pastor Doug Wilson

I was looking to write something like “A Sermon to Americans’ but it is better preached by Pastor Wilson.

As many of you know, I’m just a simple Citizen that has delved deep into the Foundations of America. Since my immersion in facts, hip wading through the modern mire of rewriting history – face it, this has been happening over the last 80 years – I have been able to very clearly see the relationship of Reformation Biblical reality regarding all governance.

Not to make this one of my long commentaries, I will simply note that the Link to the Sermon by Pastor Doug Wilson is one that should be echoed from every Evangelical pulpit in the land.

“A Sermon for Americans” (here’s the Link) is in the tone of those ‘Chaplains and Clergy of the Revolution’ that I often speak of. It could be one that fits into the collection of ‘Election Day Sermons‘ that I speak of, although it is much shorter.

I want to thank Pastor Wilson for this sermon. I pray that those many other pastors out there will bring a like message to their congregations such that Jesus is glorified and that true Liberty once again reigns in this Land.

Remember, that as shown in the Old Testament, humanity will ebb and tide the understanding of True Liberty according to the factual preaching of the Word of God and the hearers acting accordingly.

I encourage you all to watch ”A Sermon for Americans’ and hear what is being said in this sermon. One has to hear it several times to glean all that is in it since it is impactful in every paragraph. This is a timely message that resonates with the times we are living in.

Independence Day 2019

Independence Day 2019  Signing the Declaration

Tomorrows celebrates the Declaration of Independence. The media is going mad considering the Independence Day 2019 celebration in the National Capital. Why, because the ‘Modern Tories’ would rather enslave the sovereign Citizens to the globalist agenda. Yet, the theory of governance in Revolutionary America was well articulated by Samuel Adams in a speech on August 1st. Liberty is not understood in our modern times as it was when Patriots took the steps to stand against economic, judicial, religious and media ‘Tyranny’.

Independence Day was in the hearts and minds of the Citizenry. Not because of some ideological word or ‘narrative’. NO, Independence was based on the reality of the King being a Covenant Breaker and the Citizens in America understanding the full context of covenant and compact. We have lost that understanding.

Who better to remind us of the truth regarding Independence Day then Samuel Adams. The following is an excerpt from that speech and the the full link to the pdf with my Introduction in the note afterward:

COUNTRYMEN AND BRETHREN: I would gladly have declined an honor, to which I find myself unequal. I have not the calmness and impartiality which the infinite importance of this occasion demands. I will not deny the charge of my enemies, that resentment for the accumulated injuries of our country, and an ardor for her glory, rising to enthusiasm, may deprive me of that accuracy of judgment and expression which men of cooler passions may Possess. Let me beseech you, then, to hear me with caution, to examine without prejudice, and to correct the mistakes into which I may be hurried by my zeal.

Part 5 – Self-Inflicted Eviction: Public Pension Crisis

Is The Public Pension Crisis Affecting Everyone?   Norcross and Gonzales chart

Wharton School of Business posted an article/pod cast in August 2018 regarding “The Time Bomb Inside Public Pension Plans”. On the pod cast, Wharton’s Olivia Mitchell and Leora Friedberg of the University of Virginia discuss the $4.4 trillion public sector pension shortfall. The research is very clear that these Public Pension plans have been it trouble for years and the chickens are coming home to roost.

What’s that mean for Ohio?

Part 4 – Self-Inflicted Eviction – Who’s Minding The Boards?

Is Anyone actually watching or being held accountable for your Levy Tax Dollars.

Therefore every time you vote in favor of a Levy without demanding accountability, you are contributing to not only your – but others Self-Inflicted Eviction.

The purpose of this post is that simple deeper dive into the ‘Unaffordability” of Levies. It has taken a long time to bring this information to you since the details of it had to be more fully investigated and then written in more of a ‘White Paper’ format. Consider how long the list of the taxing authorities are as noted in “Part 3 of Self-imposed Eviction: Confusion – Good Intentions By Deception and Legislation”. The challenge for this writer has been to drill down on the Ohio Revised Code, the Ohio Administrative Code and the various bureaucratic entities rules, grants, strategies and policies.

Gulp! Where’s the Tylenol for the headache?

It is abundantly clear that many of the “unelected” Boards and bureaucrats of some nineteen taxing Subdivisions in Ohio have “ZERO Accountability to the Citizens of the Counties. Why? Because no one is paying attention to them. Continue reading

10-27 Breaking News Update

Breaking News!

Update to Saturday 10-27 Radio Program

Boston – Thursday:

In Boston the excitement was intense, and the whole city was quickly in a blaze of resentment. At the first opportunity the determined hostility to the act broke forth. What would normally be an occasion of celebration, political figures are found hanging in effigy from city center trees and from the top of which peeped forth a head with horns, intended to personify the Devil. The authorities did not attempt to remove the effigies, for, in the excited state of the popular mind, it was difficult to say how far the rage of the people, might lead them.

The Organizers, with whom the proceedings, originated, kept the matter somewhat in hand, and at evening cut the figures down and carried them in procession through the city, processioned on a bier. The multitude moved in perfect order, and their route was lined with people. They passed through the historic Old State house and under the council-chamber, where the key city politicians happened to be gathered. “Liberty, property, and new taxes”! were shouted at the ears of the listening dignitaries. The Organizers were preceded by some four or five thousand business and tradesmen, decently dressed and the whole body marched to State Street, where they demolished a structure which they believed the federal government was building as an office for the new tyranny being pushed by despotic leadership. Then they proceeded to Fort Hill (Roxbury), where key government officials reside, and with fragments of the frame which they brought with them, built a bonfire in which the effigies were consumed. Mid-Term Matters

The Mid-Term Election Matter

Mid-term Elections Matter even with the election of President Trump in 2016 is the first effort in fifty-years in what he clearly states in his inaugural speech. “Today’s ceremony, however, has a very special meaning because today we are not merely transferring power from one administration to another or from one party to another, but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C., and giving it back to you, the people.1” The forceful opposition to this clear transfer back to Founder’s Intent for self-governance is the purposeful intent of the democrats and their socialists/neo-marxists collaborators.

The greatest fights for our Constitutional Republic are yet before US. The miscreants of the attacking ‘left’ are now fully engaged to topple every aspect of the Constitution and the Republic. With the confirmed appointment of Justice Kavanaugh they are conceding the loss of the position but are claiming through people like actress Milano, “we may have lost a political battle, but I do think we are winning the cultural battle.2” – In her interview on “Meet The Press” of all programs. This self-styled political genus uses the word ‘collective’ numerous times. Remember that language usage is 100% telling of ones ideologies.

Tolerance?

So what about all the ‘Tolerance’ shouting and coexistence stuff? Continue reading

Part 3 of Self-inflicted Eviction: Good Intentions

Confusion – Good Intentions By Deception and Legislation

Here is Part 3 of Self-inflicted Eviction, which goes beyond the emotional voting aspects of increasing ones property taxes. The good intentions of those that see or perceive needs in society often get legislation passed that creates a taxing authority (sub-division). The majority of these Sub-divisions are most often unfunded – except by self-imposed taxation. This mean that the county may be required to have a certain taxing sub-division but that does not mean that the Citizens have to fund it.

Levies: The Hot Issue

The issue of Levies is HOT across the nation. We have received tax relief at the Federal level and yet the local level is making home ownership almost impossible. Most Citizens do not know they are virtually evicting themselves and those that are renters don’t care what happens to property owners. The Confusion is that most Citizens have no clear understanding of the various Boards, better know as taxing sub-divions, regarding responsibilities and accountability. This is most true about having any idea of how and why these entities exist legislatively or what their real budgetary needs are.

Part 4 of this series will get into a lot more detail about the sub-divisions. Just to be clear, the deception is in the way the confusion of the laws are written and how levies are presented by the sub-divisions.  The good intentioned members of taxing authorities will always play on the emotions of the Citizenry. Most importantly they are culpable in taxing home owners into eviction to maintain their bureaucracy.
