10-22-16 Candidus Revisited. The Heavy Yoke of Slavery, You Deserve It.

The Radio Show promotion description:

Once again I have to take us back to Samuel Adams and the article he wrote in 1771 as Candidus. Sam Adams referred to this great Roman patriot simply because, unlike our present population, the people knew who Tiberius Claudius Candidus was. They knew him as the Roman general who fought against Emperor Pescennius Niger in 193. When one reads the History of Roman Generals one gets the sense that Candidus was the originator of the Roman version of Special Ops.

What is critical for this week is that Sam Adams wrote in 1771 as clearly as if he was writing this week. His opening point being, “I Believe that no people ever yet groaned under the heavy yoke of slavery, but when they deserv’d it. This may be called a severe censure upon by far the greatest part of the nations in the world who are involv’d in the misery of servitude: But however they may be thought by some to deserve commiseration, the censure is just.”

He goes on to talk about the great Reformation leader in Switzerland Zuinglius, also known as Zwingli, and how he challenged the citizens and leaders to fight off tyranny or suffer with the oppressors. Adams establishes what we are experiencing with the demoncrat party, the party of socialist/communist and globalist who are directly opposed to Foundational Liberty.

I discuss once again this great newspaper article that calls us to forever fight for Liberty at all cost. Not only that, I open the program again identifying that it is me and the Evangelical/Reformed/conservative Christian Community that has allowed the Trump phenomena to become what it is.

I challenge you, as your Action Item for this week, to read the Article written October 14, 1771.

The Founders wanted us to gain knowledge and get involved! Being a Citizen is an Active involvement in our political life! Let’s get our feet on the street for this time is critical.

10-15-16 Tragedy of the Constitution – Who Are the Centinel(s)?

The Radio Show promotion description:

I have had to draw us back again to the mirrors of history with “The Centinel #1”. After having a number of conversations with friends, attending an event where Pastor Scott, who knows Mr. Trump personally and spoke about his personal relationship with Trump, and most importantly considering much of what has and will affect my grandchildren, I had to focus back on the predicted truths of our Anti-federalist founders.

What we have in the aristocratic congress and presidency are clearly outlined in the full writing of The Centinel. Here I will introduce you to just the first of eleven articles. At this point in our history I’m always inclined to point at the responsible parties along the way that allowed for the ‘isms’ to control education, un-sanctify true Christianity, let the globalists – communists and other ‘ists’ into the halls of governance. Yet, as with Sam Adams and the writers of the Anti-federalists Papers, we must rise now to True Patriotism. Many do not understand what that is. Dr. Scott read the simple definition before the assembly Cathy and I attended on Wednesday night, “a person who loves, supports, and defends his or her country and its interests with devotion.” My position is that most only operate out of the concept of “the American DNA” and have no historical context as to ‘manly Patriotism’ as the founders.

One last point – this president in a speech at Carnegie Mellon University called for the destruction of the ‘First Amendment.’ He danced it with sweet words but that is his and his ilk’s intent. His smooth words and vehement anger is like the snake of C. S. Lewis’s ‘Silver Chair’ and what ‘The Centinel’ articles argue when it comes to deception and free speech in the media.

The Founders wanted us to gain knowledge and get involved! Being a Citizen is an Active involvement in our political life!  Let’s get our feet on the street for this time is critical.

9-10-16 10 Point Immigration Plan Aligns with Original Intent

Well, this week has been full of interesting activities.  The campaigns are coming on strong and the speeches by Trump are staying on message as well as getting more definitive.  The Commander-n-Chief Forum was very interesting. You have to check it out on YouTube for yourself.  Yesterday, we who understand our Foundational Intent, Constitutionalism and True Christianity now are in the new “basket of deplorables.” I wear the badge proudly!

Well, I searched through over 500 documents to come up with this quick analysis. The bottom line is that in every fundamental of the 10 Points on Immigration, they totally align with Founders Original Intent.  Read the complete analysis Here!

Since our media and educational environment have broken with Founders Intent for well informed, moral and virtuous citizens, I begin today by defining Citizenship and the essence of “Popular Sovereignty.” I have to take us through this conceptually so that we could be more fully prepared to discuss the potential problems of aliens in the US, especially illegal aliens.  In my research I was delighted to find almost exact language that is in this conversation in our present history. Even with the more liberally minded Theophilus Parsons having a more open immigration theory, he had a clear commentary regarding immigration and troublesome aliens.

I discuss the difference between a Citizen and a subject. The majorities of those flooding into this nation are subjects and have no concept of what it means to be a true citizen!

Bottom Line for now is that those that want an understanding of Constitutional Citizenship and aliens in reference to Trumps 10 point immigration plan should listen in today.   –  The Founders wanted us to gain knowledge and get involved! Being a Citizen is an Active involvement in our political life!  Let’s get our feet on the street for this time is critical. Continue reading

8-1-15 Christian Resistance and Disobedience Today

Is there historical precedent for Christian political resistance?  The answer is absolutely – ‘Yes!’

Ever since the Reformation this has proven true.  The City of Magdeburg stood in resistance to the Holy Roman Empire and saved the Reformation from annihilation.  The Founding Fathers of America contended against the King of England when he was attempting to implement bishops and a hierarchy over the freely established churches in the Colonies.  Sam Adams wrote many articles from 1764 through 1772 regarding the tyranny of government in impeding true Christian religion and that is to be resisted.

Today’s program brings us to the modern discussion from our historical past.

7-25-15: Sam Adams the Puritan Activist

This program is the continuation of the reality that you can be, no, you must be a Christian to be the correct type of activist against tyranny.  Sam Adams again proves this reality in every aspect of his life.  What summarizes how this was true for Sam is this comment by Rev. Thomas Thacher:

” If he preferred the mode of Divine worship in which he was born and ed ucated to other religious institutions of antiquity, or to other forms in which Christianity has appeared, it was not from the prejudices of education, or mere mechanical habit ; but because he conceived our churches, when confined to their original design, were excellent schools of morality ; that they were adapted to promote the future happiness of mankind ; and because by experience he had known them a powerful auxiliary in defending the civil as well as the religious privileges of America.’In this mode of thinking he was instituted. The purity of his life witnessed the sincerity of his profession, and with the same faith he expired.”

The following was written of Adams in The Congregational Quarterly Vol XI:

As the State and the country emerged from the war, there was a strong tendency to depart from that piety, simplicity, and. frugality which had hitherto been dominant, and which such pure-minded patriots as Adams regarded as the basis of the whole structure of liberty. “At a time,”says Edward Everett, ” when the new order of things was inducing laxity of manners, and a departure from the ancient strictness, Samuel Adams clung with greater tenacity to the wholesome discipline of the fathers.” Even before the close of the war he raised his voice and used his pen against the insidious encroachments of extravagance and a lower tone of morals. Immediately after the inauguration of the State government, when Han cock was elected governor, Boston was gay with balls and glittering entertainments. Hancock had wealth, and loved display, and recklessly led the people in a dangerous path, and an era of moral and spiritual social degeneracy was initiated. Adams’s views on these points give a clear insight into the ruling principles of his life, and they are not inappropriate to our own times. He says:—

” Does it become us to lead the people to such public diversions as promote superfluity of dress and ornament, when it is as much as they can bear to support the expense of clothing a naked army ? Will vanity and levity ever be the stability of government either in states or in cities, or what let me hint to you is of the last importance, in families ? . . . . How fruitless is it to recommend the adapting the laws in the most perfect manner possible to the suppression of idleness, dissipation, and extravagancy, if such recommendations are counteracted by the example of men of religious influence and public station?”

7-18-2015: The Truth on Christian Resistance

As it is noted well in the references that I’m attaching Links to, the conflicting proposition on Christian Resistance or Disobedience has been a long term discussion.  My personal studies have concluded that if the early Church did not resist/disobey the Roman empire: we would not have Christianity today.  If the Magistrates and Ministers in the city of Magdeburg did not disobey and resist against the Catholic Habsburg emperor, Ferdinand II, we would not have the results of a Reformation.

Needless to comment is that Samuel Adams studied his Bible every day.  He was known as the “Last Puritan” not because of the way he dressed but because of his Biblical Reformation knowledge and non-bending principles.  He understood Biblical Covenant and that God is absolute Sovereign over all things and that Jesus received the fullness again with the Father and Spirit in that Sovereignty upon his Ascension.

This is Sam Adams understanding of God’s Sovereignty is the only place that any proper resistance can begin especially the Theology of Christian Resistance/Disobedience.  This week I bring you that introduction, well, I bring back the Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrate back to you in a different format.  I’m going to also give you the links to Doug Wilson’s Sermon Series/Blog Post on Christian Disobedience and the link to a composite work on “The Theology of Christian Resistance.”

As always, 45 minutes of radio cannot make up for hours of content.  My hope is that this will get the brain cells and spirit moving.  As I always say, there is not true Idea of Liberty with out Liberty given by Jesus.  With that, there is no rational way to resist tyranny and despotism unless you understand what Sam Adams understood in the Biblical context of Resistance and Disobedience to tyrants.

7-11-2015: The Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement is Toilet Paper Tyranny

In my presentation of “The Tale of Two Constitutions: The Anti-federalists Got it Right,” I discuss how Executive Agreements are virtually equal to treaties in their effects on law, bureaucratic implementation as well as Constitutional reform without the Amendment Process or Treaty ratification process.

Well, I’m not going to get into all of that in this program but I do show how our Founders would view this TPPA as an act of tyranny against the people/citizenry in the US.  To get to the meat of the matter, I bring you insight from Australia and New Zealand so that you can understand that words have meanings and that the parties we negotiated with do not agree with our fundamental principles thus voiding their intentions laid out in this agreement.

Buckle in to catch all the info I’ve dug up on this one.

7-4-2015: Samuel Adams Speech About the Declaration

Yes, it is another July 4th holiday.  Although I believe that we should go back to declaring it the remembrance of “Independence Day!”  Samuel Adams goes back over a year to that April 19th at Lexington Bridge and can distinctly recall the first shot fired for Liberty’s sake.

I must always go back to the speech that Sam Adams gave on August 1st 1776.  His words should be the ones that stand for the establishment of truth and fact in setting the stage for the American Revolution!  Who better than Adams, The Father of The American Revolution, to dissect, encourage, rebuke and remonstrate the purposes of the Independence for the new American States.

Please listen to what Adams had to say and you can also download the speech in pdf format as well.

6-20-15 Program: The Shadows Of Tyranny Prt. 2

This is a must continuation of Last Weeks program!  We take on the discussion again with the Anti-federalist perspective on how the Constitution of 1787 could lead to the usurpation, despotism and tyranny that we are living under in our present time.

We hear from Mercy Otis Warren in particular and learn that it is a lack of morality in governance that opens the flood gates for tyrants.

We are living in a tyranny that only a movement of God, as in the First Great Awakening, can change the tide towards slavery of the citizenry.

6-13-15 Program: The Shadows Of Tyranny

Moderns do not understand Tyranny!

In this program I not only give the definition but show how we are, without question, living under tyranny.

Tyranny: The use of arbitrary Power.

Governor Bradford in his history of Massachusetts, says : ” In these patriotic measures to resist the encroachment of arbitrary power, the citizens of Boston seem to have been the first. They instructed their Representatives in May, 1764.” the signal which first called for combined action against an act of tyranny,

John Lock – Sec. 199. AS usurpation is the exercise of power, which another hath a right to; so tyranny is the exercise of power beyond right, which no body can have a right to. And this is making use of the power any one has in his hands, not for the good of those who are under it, but for his own private separate advantage. When the governor, however intitled, makes not the law, but his will, the rule; and his commands and actions are not directed to the preservation of the properties of his people, but the satisfaction of his own ambition, revenge, covetousness, or any other irregular passion.
