Attack On Christianity: It’s Your Fault!

This week the attacks on morality, Francis Scott Key, Constitutionalism and Christianity got the best of me. I have been deep diving into the writings by yes, the cousin of Sam, John Adams. I have read John Adams several times and referenced him as well. I am always impressed with his letters to his wife and Thomas Jefferson; His keen intellect regarding the law, Constitutionalism and Christianity. To the extent that he wrote: “Let them revere nothing but religion, morality and liberty.” – Letter to Abigail Adams (15 April 1776)

Instead of referring more of what John Adams wrote, today I speak about my continuing study in Jeremiah. I am still intent on recording an exhortation on Jeremiah but that is for another day.

3-11-17 Truth, Montezuma on Aristocratizing the House of Rep. and UN Health Care Mandate

Almost everything that has been going on for the last century has been the ‘battle for truth.’ We have lost perspective our Founder’s Truth and Intent as well as where they sourced Truth. Samuel Adams had a primary source for Truth that I identify today. I also give you more insight to the Samuel Adams Center for Political Science. Here is my email to contact me about SACPS: tom@samueladamsreturns.com

Next I discuss Montezuma, not the Aztec emperor but the Anti-federalist. His satire on the establishment of the Constitution of 1787 is a clear descriptor of what has been and is happening in Congress today! Yes, the Anti-federalists Got It Right!

Then I tell you why we must have Ob’Ryan care. Yes, just in time for St. Patti’s Day. This is mandated not by what Tom Price or Newt Gingrich are saying about Congressional process. No, the deception is in what most refuse to learn, accept or the politicians talk about – the UN mandates for ‘universal health care.’ Continue reading

2-25-17 CPAC and the Relevance of My Book

Last week was fantastic watching CPAC!
The content was more on target with what I like to hear – that being our grounding is on Constitutionalism. Regarding Constitutionalism, in the 2nd and 3rd segments I intend to discuss why my book “Not ALL Conservatives Are Constitutionalists” is even more relevant as we move from CPAC into Action.
I am going to do some frothing in the 1st segment today. Once again the progressive/socialist/Marxist pastors are promoting lawlessness. I continue to hope that the Evangelical pastors will become stronger to stand up for truth as those during the Revolution period did. Continue reading

8-1-15 Christian Resistance and Disobedience Today

Is there historical precedent for Christian political resistance?  The answer is absolutely – ‘Yes!’

Ever since the Reformation this has proven true.  The City of Magdeburg stood in resistance to the Holy Roman Empire and saved the Reformation from annihilation.  The Founding Fathers of America contended against the King of England when he was attempting to implement bishops and a hierarchy over the freely established churches in the Colonies.  Sam Adams wrote many articles from 1764 through 1772 regarding the tyranny of government in impeding true Christian religion and that is to be resisted.

Today’s program brings us to the modern discussion from our historical past.

3-14-15 Program: S. A. The Lesser Magistrate Prt. 2

It is in my opinion that those in the political game all the way from the Water Board to the Presidency have no understanding of “The Doctrine of the Minor/Lesser Magistrate.”  As discussed in the last program, I believe that Sam Adam had the full understanding of this Doctrine and lived it to the fullest!

I had to keep the points going as to how and why this is true with Sam and maybe, just maybe someone who is running for office will want to understand that it is NOT a political game but a responsibility given by God to govern according to His Principles in every aspect of civil society.

2-28-15 Program: Sam Adams & Brutus VI and the Lesser Magistrate

Not only did Sam Adams argue, live and exemplify the reality that God is Sovereign in all things including governance but other noted Anti-Federalist expounded on these truths as well.

I continue with rounding out Sam Adams as the quintessential Lesser Magistrate and follow up with one of Robert Yates writings as Brutus.  Without getting into all the key points of Yates in Brutus VI; I want to highlight a couple of the elements that match what Sam lived:

  1. The expectation for the elected would be “For every man, rulers as well as others, are bound by the immutable laws of God and reason, always to will what is right.”
  2. The fear of Brutus is: “… The government would always say, their measures were designed and calculated to promote the public good; and there being no judge between them and the people, the rulers themselves must, and would always, judge for themselves.”

What I’m attempting to communicate in this program is that all Magistrates, even in these modern times, “are bound by the immutable laws of God” and responsible to govern accordingly.

November 8, 2014 – Journey to Sam Adams Returning and Did the Midterm Election Mean Anything?

On this broadcast of Samuel Adams Returns – The Anti-federalist Got It Right, ( www.lwrn.net ) I discuss the underlying principles that has brought me on the journey of why Samuel Adams needs to Return.  In the third segment I was compelled to mention something about the recent Mid-term elections.  Regarding these elections, I thought it important to review what George Washington said in his Farewell Address.  As promised in that segment, here a link to the Farewell Address and the ability to download it from here as well.
