The Course of Events

WhirlpoolThis week, in the Course of Events – the journey of personal revelation is played out in what ebbs and tides the sea of life.

As I reflect on this past week, there are those aspects of life that move in the tide of macro and micro instances of what is before us. The constant in it all is that we must balance the view of the ocean to cross and the puddle we are about to step in or the tear that is to be wiped off of a cheek. Where are our eyes focussed in the mist that can hover over any water and obscure the reality of its true dangers or joys.

This week the tides and winds have taken us on a journey of all that causes the oceans to fill and then refreshes the lands with the waters cleansed by the evaporation from the sea. The macro of national politics where fear has paralyzed those who succumb to an idolatry of science. The micro of family that has many mixed blessings but can rage as the ocean storms. All combine to effect the course of events that call for steadfastness and a source of continuity. Continue reading →

May 7, 2020 National Day of Prayer

I was challenged this day by an Eric Metaxes program which had Pat Boone on it. The end of a program was a challenge. I took it as one. In all that is happening politically, culturally and economically, we have not done enough of what our Founders did. That is to have ‘proclamations of necessary days of prayer and fasting.’

I went back through the writing of Sam Adams and found him doing so in the Colony of Massachusetts as well as the Continental Congress and as Lt. or Governor of Massachusetts. More so, I was deeply challenged by the short bio of Dr. George Duffield. When the Tory magistrate and leaders locked the doors to his preaching, he was helped through a window to go open those doors so all could enter and her God’s Word.

Politics, economy and culture are components of God’s creation for mankind. None of it can satisfy the thirst for true Liberty. Nor can Liberty be preserved without God! Many of my Patriot friends across this nation will rally on Saturday. My greater hope and prayer is that they go to their public square Today and Pray.

My prayer is inadequate and I am not a person of elocution when it comes to a most solemn and needed time as this Day of Prayer. 

Come together as God’s People and Pray.

My apologies for having to rerun “Virtue of the Elected and Sam Adams on Voting.” In fact, I had a fabulous guest phone interview that I promised you last week. Joan Swirsky is a delight to converse with. Well, I created a Blooper by not having one of the cables on the mixer in the wrong place. Hence, we had a great interview and although the meter on the recording device showed I was getting her side of the conversation, well it was not enough for even the best software to boost the volume.

Joan is kind enough to agree on a re-interview for next week. In fact, there is so much to talk to Joan about that I intend to invite her on again sometime this summer as well.

It’s a gorgeous bright morning. You leave the hotel and meet the car waiting for you at the bottom of the steps. You are heading out to a meeting a few miles away. Your driver is a trusted individual and you have worked with him before. The route you take through the city is bustling with morning traffic and shops are opening along the streets. A strange sight is the men standing by the doors of many shops. What catches your eye is that these men have a revolver tucked into the belt of their pants. US of Venezuela

I am writing a lengthy article for a future posting regarding our Country becoming the US of Venezuela via the Matrix. I spent a lot of time in Venezuela while Chavez was at the height of his power. I saw first hand the insidiousness of the daemon that socialist/marxist – communism is all about. I have witnessed it in many other countries that I have visited since the 70’s.

Watching people react in fear, not standing for Liberty is what I hoped would never happen in the United States of America. Yet, I did expect it to happen based on the last forty years of daemoncrat complete submersion into marxism as well as the failure of the churches to inculcate a sense of Biblical Reformation morality into their pew sitters or in most modern churches – the musical chair sitter.

4-11-20 Lost Vote Predicted in 1787

Predicted  Lost Vote by Congressional Action

Control over elections and the potential for a Lost Vote was predicted in 1787 and 1788. The Anti-federalists argued that Article 1 Section 4 would at some point impact the core right of voting and become corrupted.

This Lost Vote is the essence of the program.

Alexander McWhorter had such a clear understanding or the deepest aspects of the reason for the revolt against England that he was made an envoy to North Carolina. Congress sent him south to North Carolina because of his zeal for Liberty. He went to rouse the people to Action. For this, McWhorter was greatly maligned by the Tories and had to leave the effort.

McWhorter was with Gen. Washington on the march to Trenton. He gave his all of himself in service to the army. He was all in for the cause of Liberty but his service was cut short when his wife was hit by lightning. Continue reading →
